| Description: This is intended to provide an overview of the
geology of Orange County, California. Do not use this image for engineering,
geotechnical, or planning studies. This map is based on CDMG Bulletin
204 (Morton & Miller, 1981). The 3-D effect was accomplished
by combining the geologic map data with mosaicked USGS digital elevation
models that were hillshaded. |
